On the last weekend of June, 28–29 June 2025, the FanAsia 2025 festival will take place at the Zrkadlový háj Culture House in Bratislava – and we at Bakuhatsu won’t be missing it. After Animefest, this is our next big event of the season, and we’re really looking forward to seeing you in the capital.
As always, we’ll bring our selection of anime figures and merch, and you’ll once again get a 10% discount on everything if you follow us on social media. Whether you’re a fan of rare pieces, part of the No Box community, or just looking for your first figure – we’re happy to help.
What is FanAsia?
FanAsia is a pop culture festival focused on Japan, Korea and East Asia, bringing together fans of anime, K-pop, cosplay, Asian cuisine and traditional culture. The festival has a long history – many will remember it under its former names Otakon or Nipponfest & Hangukon.
In its current form, it offers a compact but high-quality program worth attending. The venue – Zrkadlový háj Culture House – is located in the heart of Petržalka and provides pleasant, easily accessible spaces. Everything is clearly organized – shopping area, lecture halls, workshops and the main stage.
What can you expect at the festival?
- Cosplay contests – for both kids and adults, with the chance to showcase your creations on stage.
- K-pop zone – dance competitions, workshops and cover group performances.
- Lectures and workshops – covering anime, Japanese and Korean culture, travel and history.
- Asian street food – ramen, bento, bubble tea, mochi, taiyaki and more.
- Merch stalls, handmade products and Asian cosmetics.
- Photo booth – try on a yukata or hanbok and get a free photo!
The program runs across two days, making it ideal for a weekend getaway full of fun and inspiration.
Where to find us?
You’ll find the Bakuhatsu booth in the merchandise section, alongside other vendors and creators. We’ll bring our full range of anime figures – including recent releases, popular series and our No Box No Problem selection for collectors focused on the figure itself.
